Michael has had a successful career in the hospitality industry that spanned over 25 years prior to joining Corlex as a Director of Operations in 2019. Michael initially joined the Corlex team as an Acting District Manager of six Wingstop units that Corlex was managing in Florida. As Corlex has grown, so have Michael’s responsibilities which encompass multiple units and multiple systems in multiple geographies.
Over his career as a General Manager, Operating Partner and Staffing and Training Manager at various companies, Michael developed into a true leader that provides expertise in restaurant transitions, openings, multi-unit management, and training & development. He adds value for Corlex’s partners by drawing from his experiences of opening, training, and operating multiple restaurants for notable brands such as Bertucci’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Durango Steakhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Seasons 52 (Darden).
When Michael is not in a Corlex-managed restaurant, he enjoys time serving his community and spending time with his wife Lisa and his two children – Joscelyn and Jalen.
